We are living in an era where there is constant stimulation going on around us. Willpower is simply not enough sometimes and it can be hard to focus on the task at hand.
Here are a few of my tips to help you increase productivity.
1.       Just do it: at times we over think the steps, process and plan, ultimately losing focus along the way. A great way is to simply start working on that project you are passionate about. Write down your vison and goals then get started. The human mind is more likely to want to focus on or continue a task that we have already started; so create or designate a space where you can sit without any distractions and get the ball rolling.
2.       Create an action plan and stop multitasking: we ALL believe we are capable of multitasking and while that may stand true in some areas of life it does not work when you have many deadlines for school, work or even your personal blog.  List and prioritize 5 things you need to accomplish every day.Commit yourself to completing the tasks on your list without fail. Write it down and make it happen.
3 .       Scheduling, deadlines and accountability: set time aside to perform a certain task and mark deadlines on your calendar and review it often.  Jackie and I have created an editorial calendar for our blog posts and being able to visually see them has been tremendously useful in getting our work done on time. Create a chart and document the tasks completed and the time it took to get them done. This will help you evaluate your work and note the areas that require more attention as well as where time has been wasted.
Hope you found this post helpful and thank you for the comments and support
Until next time Sincerely Shubila
